Post Industrial Brambles

Two out of seven days this week I went to sleep right after Trev did. When will I stop being exhausted?

Trev and I have biked to work three times already. Yay us!

Luisa finally made me get out to the movies again. Last year I saw about half a dozen movies that I liked but that should have been at least 30 minutes shorter than they are. When I see a few unsatisfying movies in a row I usually stop going to the cinema for a while until the trend changes and there is something new going on in the rep house fashion world.

Well, it looks like I came out too soon. The Art Star would have been a fantastic 60 minute film but it was stretched over twice as long. Note to filmmakers: if a scene does not offer any new sense or idea that has not yet been explored in the film thus far – it is ok to cut it, nobody will miss it.

I am going back into hiding now. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll come out to see Wolverine…

I actually believed an April Fools joke today. For about 10 minutes I was fuming about Ontario bringing in a mandatory driver’s licenses for cyclist that would have to be displayed on the backs of helmets. Silly me.
