More walking that crawling

Trev with new haircut

In last few weeks we have been outside more and more. Trevor loves playing in the park. Even when he is just sitting around on the play structure, he seems so interested and amused. This is good because he is getting bored with the house. When we are at home he prefers playing on the stairs or climbing from one swivel chair to another. To be fair, he seems to have more interest in toys though he still loves dangerous things.

He chats all the time but at best we can just guess what he is trying to say. He often says “outside” and “pas” for dog or “cvijet” for flower. Sometimes it seems like he is saying phrases and sentences, but I cannot be sure.

On the down side, he tends to complain a lot, particularly in the kitchen. He is impatient when I am preparing food and wants to grab everything as soon as he has had a little bit of food. He is not a particularly hungry kid so the time spent actually eating is very short compared to play time while we’re eating. He loves his breakfast and good night milk the most.

Chris took Trev to get his first haircut the other day and it went really well. He was calm for his own haircut and staid in the chair playing with toys long enough for Chris to have his cut too. He got a little certificate and a lollipop which he made a short work out of.

Another really cute thing Trev did was imitate Chris when he knocked his knee on the table. Trev doubled over in faux pain and started whining. Chris and I started laughed and told him that he didn’t hurt himself to which we got a big “ha-ha I got you!” grin.
