My Second Christmas

We`ve had a wonderful holiday so far. On 24th Trev came to visit me at work. He particularly liked one of my co-worker`s yoga ball and was quite keen of walking around the cubicle farm. There were other kids too, including a three year old girl who wanted to hug him a lot.

Trevor was particularly excited about his Nona coming over to visit him. He has learned to give kisses right in time for her visit.

On Christmas we went to Grandma’s house where Trev played for hours completely missing his nap and not feeling at all tired despite it.

For Christmas Trev got a few new cars which made him very happy. He absolutely loves playing with cars. There is absolutely nothing better than going “brrmm, brrmm, meep! meep!” all day.

The next day we went for a walk in the snow to check out the outdoor hockey rink behind our house. Unfortunately, it rained before we were able to get some skates so it will be another week or so before we try it out…

The Music

Trev had another filled weekend. We went to the Children Christmas Party at my work where he watched a juggling show, had his picture taken with Santa and, most importantly he had way too much fun with the balloons, or “leluns” as he calls them. It took me about a minute to unwrap him from the balloon bouquet he got himself into when we had to leave.

On Sunday we went to a Christmas concert by a brass band that some of our friends are in. Trevor was surprisingly attentive and only started running around the theater during the last piece. It is getting much easier to take him places because he rarely touches stuff he should not and when he does a simple warning is enough to get him to stop. On the other hand, he is very social and gets everyone to play with him or just runs around by himself, driving his car, chasing cats and hugging mirrors.
