Vermont

We’ve had a lovely trip to Vermont the other week. We were in Southern Vermont, close to Manchester. We stayed at Wiley’s Inn, which apart from having plenty of room to run around, an outdoor cat and birds right outside the dining room window, had a big play room with lots of toys. This made the big difference, particularly in the morning when Trevor went to play while Chris and I were getting ready.

Hike
We went for a hike the first day and it was really nice. Trev walked a little bit, particularly when he got to yield a walking stick. Though we convinced him to hop into the backpack for the steeper parts.

The rest of the weekend was too cold to hike so we went to visit a few farms and small towns. Trevor thought that animals, particularly chickens, were hilarious.

Baaaaaa

The trip there and back was pretty good, considering it is a 6 hour drive. Trevor was amused by large trucks and trailers though he did get bored here and there. Fortunately he thought navel oranges are hilarious so we were able to distract him. On the way back we hid a few books and toys and brought them out strategically to keep him amused.

The Toddler and The Spring

Trevor

Trevor and I have been trying to make the most of the beautiful weather that we’ve been having. We have been biking and going to different parks. He is getting quite skilled with the play structures and loves going down slides.

Yesterday we went to the aviation museum with his friend Annabelle. They were so cute, they were holding hands whenever they needed to walk to a different area.

Airplane

Trevor is starting to get more out of his Sportball class, every time he is able to follow more directions and do the exercises more accurately.
