Over last two weeks Trev has become a real little monkey! He climbs even more than before despite me thinking it impossible. He figured out how to climb out of his crib. Except he does not do it as you would think a kid would get out of the crib. He jumps in the crib to make it move somehow managing to stir it to the complete opposite end of the room. Then he climbs onto the rocking chair in that corner and descends on the floor from there. By the time he is done, the nursery looks like a hotel room after a rock star visit. Needless to say, he is being moved to his ‘big boy room’ as soon as we can clean it up and make it decent.

On the speaking front, he is now quite chatty. He likes to point out events and objects around him. When Chris was looking for his wallet the other morning, Trev helpfully informed him that “money buys puppies”.

Trevor is getting quite good at four word sentences. He is also getting into the habit of pointing out things whose names he knows. Whenever we pass the fire station he says “fire engine” and “fire engine house”. He points out every single city bus on our way to daycare in the morning.

Trev is very good at getting into his crib, but is still trying to find a way to get out. He likes the idea of potty, but has not translated theory into practice.
On the weekend we had our first swim of the season. Trevor loved floating in the boar and jumping in the pool.

Trev is learning to ride a tricycle. He is also talking a lot more and repeating words after he hears them the first time. He is getting into locking and unlocking doors with keys and can get into his crib on his own.
