Trev’s new thing is to walk through Cres reading the house numbers. He does not always get them right, but we have fun. We are trying to encourage him to walk around by himself where we can see him, but he is not always keen on that and insists we always come with him. He likes the boats and the beach. He is still interested in fire trucks, but finds the firefighters a bit intimidating.
Owen is doing his best to walk, but still has a while to go. He is now pretty comfortable standing while holding on to something.

When I was packing for the trip I was a bit worried about the toys. I wanted to bring minimal number of toys that will keep the boys occupied. Well, I needn’t have worried; Auntie Barbara has Legos! Trevor has been playing with Legos pretty much since we got here.

Owen is fine too, he is playing with the box Legos came in.
The boys are growing at an alarming rate. Trevor is still not speaking very much Croatian, but he seems more comfortable and he is more likely to not mumble when I ask him to say something in Croatian. He has met a number of new friends, Maja in particular. Though they are a bit wary of each other, being a bit new and territorial, they still managed to have some fun getting into trouble for jumping in the playpen. Maja calls Trevor Tevoj and he calls her “my girl”.
Owen is working hard on large muscle mobility. He can stand up in the box by himself and he can say Barbara, or something that sounds very much like it.

Trevor and Owen are getting super spoiled with so much attention. Trevor does not seem to have gotten affected by jet lag at all. He loves to play with Legos, particularly with little cars made out of Legos. He is still speaking completely in English but will repeat Croatian sentences when I ask him to. He has been walking around for quite long distances. His longest trek was from the edge of the “Kvatric” in Subiceva to our old apartment in Sulekova.
Owen has continued the growth spurt he started before we left. We have also had more success in feeding him solids. We have managed to feed him some cereal and a cooked apple. He liked both and can now eat without the tongue reflex. He is now rolling over without any difficulty and is trying to sit up by himself. He loves chewing on everything and anything.

“I don’t like that talk!”
“The sun is going down!” – a little breakdown _every_ day around dusk
“I caaaaan’t, I caaaaan’t! You do it!”
“I made Owen smile!”
“You are a *some random object placed on Daddy’s head*-man”
“I love you Mommy!”
“Molim mljeko s medom” (really fast)
“Owen is on his belly”
