A decision was then made to bike to school at least once a week. I&#8217;ve biked to downtown and back before so it should not be too bad, but I&#8217;ve never done it &#8220;on the clock&#8221; in both directions. <\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow is the first day, I got my bike ready and I washed my biking clothes. I still need to get the panniers filled with all the stuff and get my lunch and school clothes prepared. I am nervous, wish me luck!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2330\/2429870016_65cacef1de.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"Crocus\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This weekend was nice enough, it was the first instance of summer weather. I got my sandals and skirts out. I actually got a lot done without too much rushing. I went wedding dress shopping with Maria, got my bike ready for the road, went for a nice walk with my boys, tidied up the front yard, got groceries, helped Chris catch his plane on time, visited Alex, played with Trevor etc. What a gorgeous start of a summer!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve took a long hard look at the summer coming up and realised that I will not get too many opportunities to do any serious biking.
