Last year I saw about half a dozen movies that I liked but that should have been at least 30 minutes shorter than they are. When I see a few unsatisfying movies in a row I usually stop going to the cinema for a while until the trend changes and there is something new going on in the rep house fashion world.<\/p>\n<p>Well, it looks like I came out too soon. The Art Star would have been a fantastic 60 minute film but it was stretched over twice as long. Note to filmmakers: if a scene does not offer any new sense or idea that has not yet been explored in the film thus far &#8211; it is ok to cut it, nobody will miss it.<\/p>\n<p>I am going back into hiding now.
