The only way to see Twilight is in the open air cinema. Why? Because of the ticket salesman who almost overcharged us 40$ because he was too busy trying to pick up the mom of the gaggle of preteen girls she dropped off at the movies. Then there was rustling in the tree right next to us during a very intense forest chase scene because another teenage girl decided to skip the ticket booth entierly and climbed over the tree and bushes to get into the theatre. Special effects are almost useless in such uncontrolled environment – vampires look exactly the same in the sunlight as without it. It is too dark to read the instructions on the Cedevita bottle before drinking it (how was I supposed to know that the dry mix is on the top of the bottle that needs to be unscrewed and then shaken before drinking? – blech!). Then there is a break in the middle of the film to change the reel because the cinema only has one projector. The only resemblance to the regular cinema are the swooning teenage girls.
